  Went to the gym tonight in Grimsby. Normally I have no issues. However tonight was terrible. I went in last week and told the staff my daughter took my keys to school and my membership card is on it. She would not be back till Thanksgiving. The staff said no problem we can check you in manually. Tonight, Daniel who must be new was so rude and argumentative. He continued to deny me access saying we do not enter people in manually. Even though eventually on the computer it shows I was entered in last week manually. I asked to speak with a manager 8 times. His response was call head office and complain or cancel. When I asked for the phone number he suggested that I google it. Rather than trying to work with me he insisted on try to aggravate me as much as possible. Again, I asked for a manager. Her name is Monika. She also would not respond to me as she indicated it was the weekend. If I had a complaint call back on Monday. What kind of management does not even ask for my information to verify what happened. I now understand why this location has a high turn over of staff. I think I would rather go to another gym and even pay more than to be verbally accosted by someone who has zero communication skills.

  But overall it's a great place, very friendly staff and it's probably the cleanest gym I have ever been too.

  Heartless scammers - I'm currently going through a rough time medically. Unable to work now and applying for ODSP. Also got my purse stolen while on holidays and bank wiped out which made me miss my $9 payment. They sent me an email they would charge me $25 (yes, that's 227% more than the payment I missed). I called and explain the situation to the manager hoping they would wave the fee, also told her I need to cancel my membership since now I can't afford it. She asked I email her "my story" and she would contact upper management. They not only didn't get back to us but they went into our account 3 times and took money out. They tried going in other few times and we get charge $45 everytime it gets bounced. A $9 missed payment is costing about $200 now. This past Friday they tried to go in again.. . yeah I still don't have $9 because I'm still sick (permanent), broke, and fighting to survive. Oh and now I owe another $25 for missing that $9 from a mermeberhsip cancelled in December. This gym was my hope to my physical recovery and I stead its turn into my nightmare. My bf called to talk to the manager one more time, she definitely has no heart, couldn't have cared less. Told my bf she would "try again" with upper management and she would call us back. That was 2 weeks ago, again no response. Other companies that we have missed payments during this hard time have been very understanding and accommodating. Fit4less definitely does not care for its members, is just a money grab. Which is ridiculous because if you go to such gym is because you can't afford the regular pricer ones...

  Instead I got an email the evening before that it was not cancelled and monies was going to automatically taken out of my account the next morning. This is end of January. I called and now I have to physically go in and they are going g to attempt to take money out of my account. I have not been able to work since the accident. So needless to say. They lie!! to try to get more money. They are SCAMMERS and it's disgusting.

  SCAMMERS. Beware! . I had called a month and half (only needed a months notice to to notify them I was cancelling) I spoke with a girl and explained I want to cancel my membership. (The gym is was fine, very small) I no issues with it. I was in a car accident in November and I'm not able to work out for a very long time. The girl I spoke with said that she would cancel it and I asked if I needed to come in. She said no. I was happy as driving for me can be painful. She said she would email me a cancelation letter.

  Small but good gym, has most equipment that the larger fit4less locations have. It's a hidden gem in my books as it doesn't get really busy most days and I prefer a less crowded quiet gym. I came from a much larger goodlife gym and I am still able to get a full workout in at this location so,etimes being a little creative though. All part of the experience in my books. Only knock from me is that when it does get crowded it's really annoying due to how small the space is compared to other gyms and the general lack of etiquette from non experienced gym goers.
